Joyous Celebration founder, Lindelani Mkhize, resting after heart attack

Joyous Celebration founder, Lindelani Mkhize, recently suffered a heart attack and spent three nights in hospital.
Mkhize suffered a heart attack on Tuesday but the popular gospel group kept mum on the health scare.
He spent three nights at Life Entabeni Hospital in Berea, Durban.
Speaking to Sunday World, the gospel legend reassured his fans that he is recovering.
“The doctor said I suffered a heart attack. I was too tired. I’m out of the hospital now and I will continue to work but take it slow, just like the doctor ordered,” he said.
“I woke up in hospital but I’m glad that I’m fine, and please tell my fans that I’m resting as the doctor instructed. I’m going back to Joburg because I have some meetings so I want to be well rested when I attend those meetings,” Mkhize added.
Joyous Celebration is said to have kept quiet about the health scare because of “privacy reasons” a member of the group told the publication.
“The choir decided to keep it hush-hush for privacy reasons. We wanted him to recover without the attention of the public because it was bad and we did not know what would happen. A heart attack is unpredictable,” said a singer, who asked not to be named.

  1. I'm glad he is okay because the group would never be the same without his guidance. He is the heart and soul of Joyous Celebration...
